Healthy Bliss Balls Recipe

This is a healthy and super quick snack option that you can whip up for any unexpected guests! Keep these staple ingredients in your pantry and you’ll also be kicking some parenting goals whilst you’re at it.

Serves: 10 | Prep time: 10 minutes | Total time: 1h 10m

Ingredients:

110g of raw nuts (we love using almonds, walnuts or cashew)

150g of pitted dates (pop these in a bowl to soak whilst you get everything else ready)

45g cold pressed coconut oil

30g of cacao

1 tbsp chia seeds

1 tbsp rice malt syrup

2 tbsp water

80 g desiccated coconut

3-5 drops of your choice of essential oil (our favourites are Wild Orange and Peppermint)

Method:

  1. Pop all of the ingredients together in a food processor or highspeed blender (a Thermomix is on my Christmas wish list lol!) for about 15-20 seconds or until a paste.
  2. Chill in the fridge until firm, normally an hour is pretty perfect.
  3. Scoop out a tablespoon, roll into a ball and then roll over desiccated coconut.
  4. Store them in the fridge or freezer and ENJOY!
