DIY Natural Surface Spray Cleaner

Ditch those chemical cleaners! With this simple recipe you can  confidently clean your kitchen, bathroom and everywhere in between….

Prep time: 3 minutes

One of the main reasons I switched and ditched my old cleaning products was that as a new mum I knew that inhaling bleach and other toxic chemicals could not be good for myself or for my baby. I wanted to feel confident that if my children were to come across any cleaning products in my home it wouldn’t cause a rush to the emergency department due to me keeping poison in my kitchen cupboard.

I love that my kids can help me clean the windows, the dining table, or even drop homemade toilet bombs into the toilet bowl for a scrub and they will remain completely safe.

You’ll also find research to show that chemical disinfectants can actually be causing more harm than good, as we kill off good bacteria as well as bad, creating superbugs and worse strains than ever before. Need more convincing? read about how Disinfectants Can Make Bacteria Resistant To Treatment

You might be surprised to learn that essential oils can be super effective for no-tox cleaning and many have anti-bacterial qualities. Gone are the days of breathing in headache inducing toxic fumes in your shower, join me in smelling citrus bliss and other delights instead.
